At Mt. Lookout Chiropractic and Sports Injury Center, we encourage our patients to incorporate a healthy diet and lifestyle. We offer two different nutrition programs to meet the needs of all of our patients at our Cincinnati chiropractic office. We have Dr. Steve King in-house, a chiropractor of 20+ years, who has received his Masters in Nutrition. We also have Sarah King on our staff, a certified integrative nutrition health coach and nutritional therapy practitioner.

Dr. Rebecca Furlano
Meet Dr. Rebecca Furlano
As an early adopter of the Functional Medicine movement over a decade ago, Dr. Furlano’s passion has been rooted in the belief that patients’ chief complaints must be viewed through a whole body systems lens in order to achieve total restoration of health.
Dr. Furlano believes that now more than ever, the urgent need for a holistic viewpoint in the management of chronic disease must be met, especially given the global epidemic of lifestyle driven disease states. Using a combination of lab testing, microbiome analysis and lifestyle modifications, Dr. Furlano’s goal is to get to the root cause of health issues instead of masking them.
Dr. Furlano has a unique background of training and clinical experience in multiple areas of complementary medicine, including nutritional science, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Herbalism, and Chiropractic therapies.
Dr. Furlano received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, in 2012 and began her Functional Medicine practice in early 2013 in Troy, Missouri, within the office of Dr. Brett Winchester of Winchester Spine and Sport. She has had the privilege of serving a community of all ages, gender, race, and health status ever since.
In addition to maintaining a private practice, Dr. Furlano teaches Functional Medicine seminars locally and globally as a commitment to educating practitioners and spreading the importance of the Functional Medicine movement.
